Experience the convenience, speed, and safety of induction cooking with Summit's energy-efficient induction cooktops.
The SINC2B231W is a 2-zone induction cooktop designed for 208-240V power sources. Its compact size makes it perfect for small kitchens, such as those in hotel suites or studio apartments. This cooktop is designed to fit common cutouts measuring 10 5/8" W x 19 5/8" D and requires professional installation (cord not included).
Crafted from smooth, white EuroKera glass, this cooktop offers an attractive and easy-to-clean surface. The 2000W rear element, measuring 8 1/4", is ideal for boiling large pots or cooking with woks. The 1500W front element, sized at 6 1/4", accommodates small to medium cookware.
The cooktop features intuitive touch controls with a slider control panel, allowing easy heat adjustments. The digital display shows which elements are in use and their power settings, while audible beeps confirm the activation of the touch controls. A child lock feature disables the controls to prevent unintended heating. The "stop & go" function lets you immediately turn both zones off and resume previous settings when reactivated. Additionally, a timer function allows you to set a power level and cook time (up to 99 minutes), which can either turn the cooktop off or display a countdown with an audible alert when the time is up.
Safety features include automatic shutdown, overheat protection, and overflow protection, which temporarily disables power if boiling liquid contacts the control panel.
The SINC2B231W is an ideal cooktop for safe, intuitive cooking in small kitchen spaces. For a black finish version, see the SINC2B230B. Summit also offers a variety of cooktop options in different sizes and styles, including radiant and coil options. Browse Summit's full line for more choices.
Note: Induction cooking uses magnetic energy, heating cookware directly while keeping the cooktop surface cooler. Cookware must be made of magnetic materials like cast iron, steel, or magnetic stainless steel to work with induction technology. Many existing pots and pans may be induction-compatible. To test, place a magnet on the bottom of your cookware—if it sticks, it will work on an induction cooktop. Summit also offers an induction cookware set for purchase.
